We are a group of volunteers who believe we have a role to play in relieving a village in Uganda of the burdens of long-term poverty. We believe that with the right resources, international connections and worldview, this village is capable of something extraordinary. Jesus was always a big fan of the underdog ~ we think we keep pretty good company.

First Year Goals
1. Graduate our first classes
2. Build an annex onto the original building
3. Ever-increasing level of responsibility given to our first graduates
Five Year Goals
1. 50+ students have graduated
2. Graduates have formed their own company and factory
3. increased levels of health, education and business development
Eight Year Goals
1. sustainable adult education and micro finance programs
2. graduates mentoring program draws to a close
3. responsibility for funding local programs shifts to graduates company
Summary
Plans beyond the eight-year mark include replicating this process in other communities. If it works for one community, it can work for many communities. We look forward to the day when we can’t find a village that would benefit from this.
